About Us
The Old Witta School Community Centre
Located at 316 Witta Road, Witta, Queensland, Australia, the Old Witta School lies on five acres of beautiful parkland just seven kilometres from Maleny in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The historical building was the Witta State School until its closure in 1974.
No longer a school, this Community Centre is available for hire by family and community groups for self-catered private functions.
The school provides a serene setting for significant celebrations with reasonable hire rates, extensive and beautifully maintained grounds and plenty of parking space. Beautiful aged shade trees and large open grass areas compliment the old timber building and provide an ideal venue for a wide range of activities.
The Witta Market is held in the grounds on the third Saturday of each month from 7.00am-12.00 noon.
